AIDEA Projects

Currently, AIDEA has ownership of six projects including:

• DeLong Mountain Transportation System (road and port facilities at the Red Dog Mine near Kotzebue)
• Ketchikan Shipyard
• Federal Express Aircraft Maintenance Facility
• Camp Denali Readiness Center
• Snettisham Hydroelectric Project.

The Authority continues to assess the economic benefit and feasibility of many other projects.

It should be noted that once an infrastructure development project is financed, it is managed by the Project Development division, such as the DeLong Mountain Transportation System and the Snettisham Hydroelectric Project.
