Brandon Brefczynski
Deputy Director

Brandon Brefczynski is the Deputy Executive Director of the Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority (AIDEA), the State of Alaska’s economic development and finance authority. He most recently served as the Deputy Chief of Staff in Governor Dunleavey’s administration and has over 15 years of experience in legislative and executive branch offices for the State of Alaska.

He was raised in Fairbanks, Alaska and enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing, especially dip netting with his dad in Chitina.

Mr. Brefczynski holds a Political Science Degree from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks and has worked on policy issues such as natural resources and Alaska’s fiscal system.
