ARCTIC INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT FUND (AIDF)

The AIDF established in AIDEA provides tools for financing Alaska's Arctic infrastructure needs to:

• Provide direct loans or loan/bond guarantees for Arctic infrastructure.
• Issue loan guarantees for the purchase or repair of a fising vessel from a federally managed Arctic fishery or quota shares.

Financing limits:

• 33% of direct financing
• $20 milion in loan/guarantees
• $7 million minimum for fishing vessels and quota
• 40 year maximum term
