ARCTIC INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT FUND (AIDF)
The AIDF established in AIDEA provides tools for financing Alaska's Arctic infrastructure needs to:
Provide direct loans or loan/bond guarantees for Arctic infrastructure.
Issue loan guarantees for the purchase or repair of a fising vessel from a federally managed Arctic fishery or quota shares.
Financing limits:
33% of direct financing
$20 milion in loan/guarantees
$7 million minimum for fishing vessels and quota
40 year maximum term
