Geoff Johns

Geoffrey Johns has over 20 years’ experience in the international Oil & Gas industry with a strong background in finance, project economics and planning. Prior to joining the AIDEA, Geoff was the Finance Director of Blue Ridge Mountain Resources, an independent E&P natural gas company with assets in the Appalachian region.

Geoff’s career began in the Canadian Oil & Gas sector where he worked in both upstream (oil sands, natural gas) and mid-stream (pipelines, power and infrastructure) in various finance, strategy and economic roles. Geoff has also worked internationally, spending over 5 years in Norway working in the off-shore segment of the O&G industry.

He holds a B.Sc., an MBA in Finance and a Competitive Intelligence Professional certificate. Geoff was also a member of the Canadian National Rowing team for many years.
